Therapy

Are you in a place where something’s not feeling right and it’s time for a change?

Perhaps you want to reduce anxiety and stress. Or maybe you’re tired of being held back by feeling “not good enough.” Or you want to improve relationships with friends, loved ones, and co-workers.

You might not even be able to put a finger on what’s wrong, but you’ve reached the point where you feel it’s time to reach out for help.

You are not alone.

It’s an act of courage and trust to reach out for support with your mental health. Thank you.

I don’t take that lightly, and my goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space to meet you where you’re at. I offer individual and couples therapy to adults (19+), and I particularly enjoy helping with:

  • managing stress and anxiety (practical techniques for acute escalation and working more deeply over time to explore their causes to help reduce reactivity over time)
  • navigating finding purpose and meaning in life
  • making big life decisions
  • finding inner strength and living in alignment with strengths and values (e.g., reduce people pleasing and approval seeking; establish, express, and defend boundaries; improve communication skills; increase self-esteem)

I use an integrated approach, drawing from multiple theories and frameworks, including Person-centred, Mindfulness-based, Existential, Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), and Emotion-Focused (EFT) Therapies, as well as Motivational Interviewing. I’m also a yoga teacher and meditation guide and can readily use both in our time together.

All this allows us to find the best ways to support you in your journey towards ever-improving mental health.

If you’d like to get a feel for me and a sense of whether we’re a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation for us to go over your situation and decide if we’ll work well together. Click below to schedule that or to book an individual or couples’ session.

I’m looking forward to working with you.
